Just had to buy, thanks OP
Candy machine just over 3 years old, broke the first time exactly one week after the 12 month warranty ran out (drum pulley to be exact). Cost £100 to repair. Broke again today just over two years later, drum not turning again! Spin performance has always been appalling... Never buying a candy or cheap machine again.
This one looks great though, fingers crossed!

Maybe delightful to you. To me it's the annoying sound to remind me that I've now got to hang up the washing, a task I hate :stuck_out_tongue:

The Hoover we've just chucked out lasted 15 years, I doubt any of the current ones would do that though since they were bought out & of course they're all a lot more complicated now.
Dunno about the Hoover you mention but the Samsung are amazingly quiet, almost silent in use in fact even when spinning at 1600rpm so if you're on E7 & in a flat it might be worth considering noise levels too.
If that Hoover had been available a few weeks ago at that price I'd have bought it but ended up with the Samsung 1600 8kg instead which I'm extremely pleased with. Not only does it do an amazing job I also use half the normal amount of detergent & the bubble soak option is fantastic for stains too
