Just seen this in Leeds Birstall, new and sealed (two on display).
£290 is the cheapest I can see online, with most places being £350-399.

I have a 9kg eco bubble machine and being honest its the worse washing machine we have had 6 months old and the engineer has been out twice already , last fault new mainboard.
We also find it very noisy as it is not on a level floor but the engineer says its fine perfectly level and solid as we have a new floor in the kitchen.

I used to work for Samsung and it's quite an eye opener. They have this oymoron outlook called "Korean Infallibility". There were a few decent types but in general the most inflexible and totally mind boggling organisation I've worked for. Please note this is not only appilcable to Samsung - that's my only experience. Other folks I know who work or previously worked for Korean companies have the same opinion.

Samsung washing machines are rubbish. Mine broke down 1 day after the 1 year guarantee ran out. Rang Comet who did not want to know, they told me to speak to Samsung, so I rang their customer service who were very rude and not in so many words told me to p****ff too. I basically spent nearly £500 for 1 years low use. My advice, go for a brand other than Samsung with at least a 5 Years guarantee.

30 Jan 16#32
The Samsungs are all Which? Best buys. I've no doubt Samsung customer service is rubbish but you shouldn't be shopping at Comet or the like. You're covered under the Consumer Right Acts for 6 years from the retailer not the manufacturer.
If someone can get a decent proof of the for sale price and that it is available at Argos it'd be worth trying a price match with John Lewis or Ao.com, it worked with the Homebase sell off.

You have six years to take a claim to the small claims court for faulty goods in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and five years in Scotland.
This doesn't mean that a product has to last six years - just that you have this length of time in which to make a claim if a retailer refuses to repair or replace a faulty product.

Yes, its rediculous the way the mods allow a post like this when it only benefits a few, yet whenever I post a deal which would benefit loads of people mods delete it - because of the retailers location, item lack of reviews etc.
Banggood is a good example, where my deals months ago were deleted, but now they are allowed - yet the company hasnt moved their location.

31 Jan 16#57
I've had my Samsung Ecobubble washing machine for 3 days and I must say that it does wash my clothes better than my previous Zannussi washing machine which was replaced after 4 years as the bearings went. It made financial sense to replace it as after having repaired previous washing machines with bearing failure only extends the life of the machine by 1 or 2 years.

I was filing tax returns up to 3.00 AM this morning to make sure I beat the deadline. As an honorary member of the grammar police (ahem), correcting a single word by the simple expediency of inserting a much needed comma constitutes light relief for me after such a traumatic experience. It's my way of chilling out.
I have better things to do with my time, 'tis true. But it's Sunday, and I've earned my 'break'. The rest can wait till tomorrow. Quite apart from which, haven't you learned something from a light-hearted ribbin' about your grammar?

A decent 1200 spin machine will be much better than a poor 1600 spin.

'Fraid not. The concrete counterweight shifts the centre of gravity off-centre, so no stability with only 3 wheels. But you knew that already.
JamesSmith
2 Feb 16#111
Main goal of spin is for drying and 1600 will always do better than 1300 at this.
You can run 1300 for longer but there's less G force.
loquat1
2 Feb 16#112
Dryer, yes - laws of physics, etc. The downside is damaged delicates and/or more hassle for 'the ironing lady'. So it's a trade-off between that and slightly wetter but more manageable. Ya pays your money and ya takes your choice. Ours is the slower spin. Well, that's what it says here anyway, and who am I to argue with the missus?.
