excellent, this is long overdue and more retailers on ebay should follow suit.
would put an end to the practice of profiteering gits buying loads and then reselling at a higher price on ebay itself.

Yeah, sellers can restrict buyers from buying or bidding on too many items at once, so I would assume you are current;y bidding on other items from Argos on ebay, or you have made too many purchases from them.
This limit is usually to stop new bidders bidding and buying on every item without any intention of buying, or maybe to limit deals to a set number per user, seems you have been caught in that trap, contact them and ask them to remove the block for your ebay id

not sure on the feet of this TV, i cant ever remember seeing those weird style 2 sided stands. Why would they do that over the standard central stand? just means you need an even larger TV stand to put it on.

A lot of the newer TVs are like this now. I suspect it has something to do with weight distribution. I picked up a cheapo 32" TV from Tesco the other day and I swear I thought the box was empty. I guess it wouldn't have been very stable with just one middle leg/stand. They seem to be cutting costs down wherever they can, weight being reduced, lowers materials needed and shipping costs etc.
