Seems a good deal to me as I have a phone that can be charged on the unit. Not 100% sure on the quality but it's plenty good enough for my console. Might seem gimmicky to some but it's a gorgeous looking monitor to me.

For the console 720p and 30Hz would be good enough.

Vice city looks like ass. It was a great game in its day and I got full enjoyment out of it when it was deemed cutting edge, but there are limits to the graphical pollution that's acceptable in modern games.
It could always look more ass playing it on this monitor though

Ah there's always one isn't there. I guarantee you don't enjoy games more with your almighty PC. Like now I'm playing GTA Vice City, which is probably better than anything you are playing at the moment. No matter how dated it looks. Because, shock horror - gameplay > graphics.

agree. Remember all the classics.. metal gear.. going back even more streets of rage and golden axe.. graphics is nice but gameplay and content trumps all
It's PC gaming, you can drop the graphical settings and get 1440p easily. That's what I've been doing on my R9 280.

1080p @ 27 inches ain't great. Needs to be at least 1440p.

That depends on how much you want to spend in your graphics card. 1440 costs a lot more than 1080.

**** a great game is a great game, gameplay first, graphics are nice but certainly don't make a game, for me anyway. The majority of games today are all about eye candy with no real depth to them, that's coming from a PC gamer.

Was almost pulling the trigger on a. Couple of these, then saw only 1080 :disappointed:
27" really needs to be 1440+ imho

Good for console peasants. 60Hz is a garbage refresh rate. Freesync on such a device is hilarious.

I hope it is as that's what I'm using it for (although only on a console). Does it help with that?

Good size, nice color, Freesync, reduced blue light, wireless charging, and good price. Have some heat.

I was looking at these yesterday, I think this one has freesync but the spec says 60hz which threw me. Someone on the internet has said it's 75hz.
