There could be a bit of a rush on these, what with all these sudden Apple iBrick owners...

Hope the S6 Edge Plus gets the same discount.

Samsung mobiles will never be as good as they used to be. If you have a look at their reviews on s6 they keep freezing and crashing.
I used to have an s5 mini. 3 replacements and they were all the same.
No more samsung for me unless I see some positive reviews

I'm fairly certain mine freezes and crashes due to the current Lollipop ROM. People seem to fair a lot better on the Marshmallow Beta that is around. The final ROM of Marshmallow has started to roll out which I'll change to as soon as possible. The actual ROM is controlled by Samsung since they make the chipset (Exynos 7420), so custom ROMs can't be created until Samsung has made a ROM. I will be using a custom Marshmallow ROM once a stable one has come out.
As I've said many times before:
S6 - Great hardware, rubbish software, so bad that it ruins the phone.
If you say about £10 pm for the min/data works out at £294 for the phone, or £12.25 pm over 2 years, doesn't seem too shabby to me :sunglasses:

Can you transfer your existing number with this deal. Really think it's time I got a new phone

You can with all networks and have been able to for years. Just get the PAC code from your existing network and give it to the new one. Your old number should move across within 48 hours.

Quidco site/carphone warehouse page states " Cashback may initially track at a lower or higher rate and update once confirmed"
hope that helps.

Ruined by the lack of SD card support, hopefully that and the water proofing returns on the S7, there's rumours both ways at present....
Good price shame the network is useless on the N Norfolk coast and villages really has to be EE round here

7 Feb 161#32
Thanks for posting OP, been looking out for a good S6 deal, but thought we'd need to wait a bit longer - probably until S7 was announced in about a fortnight. Ordered via TCB for delivery tomorrow and already got PAC through from O2 to port number across. Cracking deal, although CPW said it wasn't on for long so don't delay if you're interested!

Hot from me. Great phone so far and a really good deal.
Picked it up in store and didn't go the cashback route as I needed a phone today.
Yes it's probably cheap because they're clearing stock for the S7, but it's not as if this phone then becomes obsolete when it drops.
Signal strength at home seems good too, bonus!

Well this deal couldn't have worked out any better for me glad carphone warehouse cancelled my orders now, just phoned vodafone up and got samsung s6 32gb £29 upfront, unlimited minutes , unlimited texts 7gb data (unlimited for first 2 months) for £21.70 per month, obviously no cashback but a better all round deal imho
kyegoon221 to zombrex
9 Feb 16#44
how how how....... that's a stonking deal....... its £31pm on web and live chat. Can also be reduced if you work for certain company's by 20%, but still only comes to £24 ish.

Picked up from in store yesterday evening. The lovely man waved £10.00 from my up front cost. After having a little play I feel quite impressed  I had previously a Nokia Lumia 1020 , and was happy to keep this and go pay as you go. Was just too tempted by something bright new and shiny, and given the fact that this is £8.00 less than my current contract, and i get a GB extra data allowance I'm glad I did . Just hope Vodafone provides the service I expect.

Patience and a lot of haggling, the guy on the phone was a bit of a nobber at first telling me no such deal exists the £21 per month for 1000 mins, unlimited texts, 2gb, i told them there was at carphone warehouse could even provide a link. Told them i was disappointed that vodafone didn't seem to want my custom anymore (two orders cancelled via carphone warehouse) He said We don't provide carphone warehouse with the phones just the airtime that is a promo they are offering.
He said this wasn't true they value my custom something must be wrong on CPW end, he started rambling on about some VEA scheme? didn't apply to me.
So he said here's the deal i can offer you samsung s632gb at £21 per month £139 upfront, 1000 minutes , unlimited texts and 2gb data (unlimited for first 2 months)
or samsung 32GB at £21.70pm (so slightly higher monthly rate) £29 upfront unlimited minutes, unlimited texts, 7GB data(unlimited for first two months)
yeah i was pretty confused myself I pretty much chewed his hand off before he asked which one i wanted to go for.
Didn't even have to pay the £29 upfront it's added onto my first bill.

I ordered this phone and it arrived today. When I logged onto my Vodafone account it states that there is only 1GB of data included per month rather that the 2GB as stated on Carphone Warehouse site?? Is this right and who should I ring - Vodafone or Carphone Warehouse??
