This may sound like a dumb question (and it probably is) but I have just brought my first Xbox 360 second hand. If I was to get a free Xbox Gold membership trial and buy some games on a deal and download them. Can I still play them once my membership runs out?

Yeah it's not like playstation. With Xbox once you buy them you own them and that includes the free games with gold. You can be offline and out of Xbox Gold and still be able to play them. However as far as I'm aware I don't think you can get games with Gold on a free trial you might want to check you can get the deals with a trial.

anyone else having problems with the prices? because Xbox is telling me I don't have Xbox gold. mine doesn't expire until August. is that the reason the prices don't work? been refreshing all day.
