I always buy my 8 year old son's school trousers from Sainsburys. Over the years, I've bought them from M&S, Debenhams and BHS, and in my opinion the quality of the school trousers from Sainsburys is great - the material is not 'paper thin', is stainproof (Teflon coated) and the trousers look smart. They are a bit stiff when bought, but after a wash or two, they soften up.

Usual story they announce 25% and then "suddenly" there's not much stock left.

Got a few school uniform things, seeing as my kids sole aim seems to be to destroy all their school clothes!

It's usually for a week

Cheers, we always check it out. Sometimes we find a lot of nice stuff for the kids, others we find nothing.Then a few weeks later, there is loads of nice stuff in the sale.

I have no idea why anyone would pay full price though

I think Saisburys has the best supermarket clothes. Their casual shirts are very good quality and a match for most of the more expensive 'brands' on the high street.
