Colloquially that is what I'd describe them as much as I say Hoover for a Dyson and Post-It for Snopake sticky notes. I've amended title though as I guess it's not a metal bodied knife like Stanleys are known for.

No, it's just that these are the snap off type blade, not the traditional double sided Stanley one.

Not bad for less than a quid, Poundland have a great set too if you have a store near to you, contains about 6 knives in that set..
obviously not as good as Olfa etc but still good for the price
