This product is named Revelation by Antler Salonga.
When you search Revelation on Antler website (antler.co.uk) you are redirected to a different webpage ( it's even the same template) making sure they clearly separate the Revelation brand from Antler. If you do a search for the Antler name on the http://www.revelationlondon.com you will have 0 results. I suspect this is because they want to separate the cheap Revelation brand from the more expensive one that has Antler on the logo.
I'm not saying they are bad, I'm saying that Antler clearly separates the brands. They make no reference on the website because Revelation is fighting it's own battle with low price brands. Even the name of the luggage on the website does not contain the name Antler. On the other hand Tesco has it in theirs clearly trying to associate what Antler does not although as another hukd user discovered ...they have the same call center:)
When I'll see the name Antler on the producer's website (www.revelationlondon.com) I will have nothing to add and vote hot for the price, warranty and name. Otherwise I'm undecided only for the price and warranty because of the name.
I think the role of the comment sections is to have pro and against comments (hot&cold). Imagine producers invading this site with products that are not hot deals and comments that criticize deleted so that you'll waste your money on bad product....

If this was as good as an Antler suitcase, why is it 'Revelation, by Antler'. Why bother with the other brand at all? FWIW it seems like a good price given the mostly positive reviews.
People are just making sure potential buyers are aware of what they are looking at.

I didn't know about the other antler make I just seen these on Argos and posted
Wow, at some of the comments, and hukd's continues to become more and more like YouTube at each passing day. Thanks for posting, voted hot for price and product.

It's one thing making sure potential buyers are aware, but its another thing being rude about it, demanding the OP remove the name Antler, etc... (even though the product itself has labels bearing the name Antler!)

Wrong. "Revelation by Antler" is the name - it says this on all product labels, etc...

Maybe it's because they want a piece of the bottom end of the market without damaging their over-priced top end?
I got this deal the other day (although the £2 discount at checkout might not exist any more) and it seems to be good quality. Only time will well though but the listing says 'Manufacturer's 5 year guarantee'.
It's fairly heavy for the size empty but that's why it has wheels. The dimensions are larger than the restrictions some budget airlines have set although they do meet the requirements for easyjet. Combined with the fact easyjet don't have a weight limit for cabin baggage it's almost like the company designed it. Plus easyjet apparently no longer guarantee that cabin baggage can be carried in the cabin and where necessary it may have to go into the hold. This is the main reason for purchase as normally I'd use a light weight backpack for a few days away but a hard case seems safer just in case.
only thing i can find mentioned is a note at the bottom under the logo stating "registered by Antler" not sure what this means...
any ideas?

Here we go again!! as on every Revelation deal you come up with the same old crap about it not being made by Antler and you'll get the same replies YES IT IS!!! people can and that includes YOU even go to the Antler website and type revelation in the search box to find the Revelation suitcases.
Oh and one other thing the customer services phone number for Antler is 0203 096 1000 and for Revelation is 0203 096 1000 Yes that's right both the same number.

That is exactly why I don't post deals anymore. You get the same kind of trolls popping up on neary every deal now and offer nothing constructive to it. The sooner the mods do something about it and enforce the sites rules, the better. Without people taking time out of their own lives to post deals to help others, this site simply wouldn't exist.

Don't let people put you off posting deals, most of the trolling muppets have never even posted a deal including you know who.
