I'm not sure why people find this hard to get? people might like the taste of meat but don''t like the idea of killing animals and meat is made into shapes a lot of the time, sausages for example, I've never seen a pig shaped like that!
I used this analogy before, have you watched a horror film? would you watch a snuff film?

Must we have this style of pedantic post on every quorn post? There's lots of meat flavoured products with no actual meat such as crisps.

Thanks. Love these and so do the kids. Everthing in moderation. Cannot stand when the carnivores tear the quorn threads to shreds. You never find veggies slate meat deals!!!

Not a vegetarian but I do love Quorn, I like the protein to calories ratio, it's great for losing weight and tastes fantastic in my opinion. Good for gym goers like my self.

yep - no mention of Chicken - surely the description is wrong and should read "Shaped like Chicken Nuggets......"

Not a dig at veggies or vegans, but why do they make up products to look like or have the consistency of meat? I have only tried the mince and wasn't a fan - what do these taste like?
I did suggest to their marketing department an alternative pigs in blankets once - called Quorn in Quilts. Not seen this marketing gem appear in the shops as yet

To perhaps appeal to the die hard carnivores and to make the transition to a meat free diet as easy as possible?

The salt content isn't much of an issue, as long as the rest of the meal isn't saturated.
My concern is the eggs they use in recipes - colesterol... & the ethical issues.
But baby steps is OK towards a chiefly plant based diet.

I completely understand but don't be so hard on yourself as it's a very common mistake we've all made. It's the same with Linda McCartney products, some of those are super salty and we don't buy as much as before. I like to experiment at home and make my own vegetarian burgers etc...

Unfortunately with a lot of vegetarian products the salt content is far too high and most folk don't look at the breakdown...

Ive just checkt and embarrassed to say I didnt realise about the salt, Ive been a veggie for 25 yrs, gosh, I have often wondered why after eating the Quorn Roasts which I adore as much as chocolate why my mouth feels almost sore inside !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so its the salt.................
