PLAY THE GAME OF THRONES, WHERE YOU WIN….OR YOU DIE
Set in the world of HBO's award-winning TV show, this is the tale of House Forrester, a noble family from the north of Westeros, loyal to the Starks of Winterfell. Caught up in the events surrounding the War of the Five Kings, they are thrown into a maelstrom of bloody warfare, revenge, intrigue, and horror as they fight to survive while the seven kingdoms tear themselves apart.
You play as different members of the Forrester household, interacting with characters from the TV show in locations including King’s Landing, and the wall. Your decisions will change the story around you, so choose carefully, because when you play the game of thrones, you win or you die.
This Season Pass Disc includes Episode 1 of Game of Thrones - A Telltale Games Series on the disc and grants access to download Episodes 2-6 as they become available. Internet connection required along with access to the PlayStation Store.

Is the game any good? I'm a fan of the TV series but wonder if this will actually be interesting.

I bought the TTG Collection a while back and have just started playing this one...
I'm not into the TV show (through inaction, not dislike) but as a stand-alone TTG, it's probably the worst I've played.
I'm not sure what it is but I just don't seem to be latching on to this like I did with TWD 1&2, TFT Borderlands, Wolf Among Us or even Minecraft SM for that matter.
Perhaps it's the script, perhaps it's voice acting, perhaps it's managing concurrent story lines, perhaps it's the fact that your playable characters keep getting killed off but I'm not making any connection with the protagonists in this :disappointed:
I didn't like it at all (did finish it though), can't get in to telltale games.
Play 'life is strange', 'heavy rain', 'beyond two souls', and 'until dawn' instead. Far far better

I have not watched the tv show but I liked the game.
Definitely try it if you like Telltale's other games. I think the first episode is free to download anyway (it was when I got it) so you could try it out before you buy.

Yes. Plays like the TV show. You control various characters from the north to Kings landing etc.. Very intense.

I think TGC listing is wrong. I had this conversation with somebody previously. Game of Thrones - A Telltale Games Series episode 5 was released in July of last year. The physical disc (as shown here) was made available in November, before the release of episode 6. IIRC all the first 5 are on disc.
And, if you were to purchase this preowned. You would still be able to download episode 6 as discussed here.

Yes.
Alot of the gameplay/dialogue is non-TV characters btw for anyone wondering.
I finished this game back in December and I'd say 75% of the gametime/dialouge is based on characters not in the TV show.

Played threw a few episodes on Mobile. Fans of the show will enjoy it, certainly worth a tenner.

It's a Telltale game, so if you enjoy those type of games, you'll enjoy this. It's also one of the weaker ones though. Doesn't compare with Wolf Among Us or Tales from the Borderlands, but it is worth a play.
Ramsey Snow is still very good in it.

way down the list of TTG in my opinion. Boring story with quite flat characters and all chugging and stuttering along the only way these game's do consistently.

I'm playing this at the moment and the game is really good. Specially if you want a more casual experience, it's better than the Walking Dead episodes (IMO). Might be a bit short and slow for some people.

I never watched the TV series but hope this helps:
"Actors from the main Game of Thrones TV series will reprise their roles for the video game, providing voice-acting for the in-game appearances of their characters, including Lena Headey (Cersei), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion), Natalie Dormer (Margaery), and Iwan Rheon (Ramsay). Other actors and characters from the main TV series will appear in later episodes."
