Anyone know what the energy cost difference is between the oil filled and the convector, and which one heats up quickest?
Looking for something for occasional use in the garage.
If I had to choose, I'd go for the oil-filled radiator, because I feel they're safer. Some say they provide a steadier heat than the "blast" of a convector, but apparently both cost the same amount to run. The convector heaters heat up faster.
