A superb action thriller directed by Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker), Point Break sees Keanu Reeves play an FBI agent sent undercover to infiltrate a gang of expert bank robbers calling themselves the 'Ex-Presidents', the only clue to their identity being the fact that they are all master surfers. Bigelow explores macho male relationships, loyalty and betrayal whilst delivering a series of adrenaline-fuelled action sequences. An exhilarating, steadicam rollercoaster ride of a film.

Remake looks ****. Gone too heavy on the extreme sports stunts and forgot the character development.
The original is in a different class ... but then I would say that.

Heat added, GREAT film never gets old.... Will give the remake a miss completely!

Agreed with the above, no need to remake such a classic film, love this one to bits. Wont be watching the remake, same as I wont be bothering with total recall or robocop remakes. Pointless really

I've always described the Fast and the Furious as 'Point Break with cars'. It's pretty much the same movie, but with worse acting. Sorry Paul.
cheers. Luckily enough, my local 'store' has the bluray version and it was delivered in the time it took to type this comment!
I have to admit to never having seen Point Break, Zero Dark Thirty or Hurt Locker but I know one day I probably will and I will like them
