Got one, told a friend, friend went to order, out of stock! Feeling pretty lucky (and a bit smug) right now. Been trying to get one of these since launch to go in my coffee machine.

Even the £4.25 ones took 3.5 hours to sell out on Monday.

Todays ones at 9AM sold out the £4.25 ones this morning at 1.5 hours, they put a second batch on tonight at 7, still some £4.25 ones available (£6.25 delivered).

hi, its still available with the essentials kit if you needed the adapters aswell, do i expire this thread and start a new one with essentials kit or do i just edit this thread, im new so not too sure how this works

I ran Kodi on pi2, sound cuts off for less than a second once in a while. anyone here with a solution?

Thanks for the heads up! I didn't bother looking at the bundles as I've already got cable adapters and can easily pick up some GPIO headers cheaply.


What are you into? A popular use for these seems to be getting a cheap SNES controller or something and installing the Pi Zero inside so that you can run emulators with just the controller plugged into your TV. Do not buy one of these solely to run kodi, it doesn't have enough ram, no case or power supply. These are for simple development and learning.

If you want kodi, you should get something like that s805 MXQ box for about £20 delivered.

​I'm using openELEC on my Pic and it does lag a bit. how do you overclock it?

i run Kodi on my pi zero just fine. UI is a bit slow but video plays fine - I watch 720p live streams on it regularly.

I managed to pick some up just as went live - Looking forward to tinkering as already shipped!

If I'm not mistaken, as well as openELEC, there is also another KODI Pi version of KODI right?, or ..... (try that too/instead perhaps?) :-)

Anyone tried to supply power from laptop usb to pi zero using mobile data cable?

im not looking to do anything useful with this. just want a project so i have something proper to work on. looking to try my hand at some code again after many years. i used to enjoy programming a 6502 in assembler.

OpenElec with default settings, pi2 not overclocked

Pi2 should be fine even not overclocked, overclocking is only really necessary with heavy eye candy skins such as Titan.
