If you turn it upside down when a programme is on do all the people fall to the bottom of the screen.

A few more inches and it'd have been perfect for me, although they do say something about it's not the size that counts but the motion rate or something....

I'm looking to mount this on the wall with something the swivels outwards. Can the stand be taken off as well?

I use it for my main gaming rig (PS4, PS3, Xbox 360)
Have to mess with the settings but once you have it set up its excellent.

Haha 4K tv, I'd rather buy a nice 1080p Sony or Samsung, the ultra def content just isn't there, and won't be for many years, if at all, even 3D is going out of fashion, haha can't see a BBC1 HD Ultra or BBC1 4K channel for at least 10 years, stretching those 720 or 1080 pixel sources into 2196 lines just isn't as nice a picture as a good HD set

I'm pretty happy with the 40" LG 4K TV I bought before Christmas (LG-LED-40UF695V-BK for £355). It compares favourably with the rather more expensive Panasonic 42" plasma I have as my main TV.
I have Nvidia Shield TVs providing 4K sources for both. I create my own 4K content with my phone (Nexus 6P) and have found quite a lot of interesting free UHD content on YouTube.

You sound like a remorseful 1080p TV owner...

I too thought that this TV ticks all the points for my living room, but unfortunately it does not have good reviews.
the problem seem to be poor picture quality and not so good android interface. A TV with great spec is useless if it has poor picture quality.
See expert reviews below, the LCD backlight is really of poor quality.

Philips are now made by someone else...name escapes me ( but its not UMC or Vestel)
VESA - 200 x 200 Wall mountable.
So, yes.
Does anyone know if this is basically the same as the Philips BDM4065UC monitor?
Cheers.
