You are wrong, what are known as AF spanners ARE imperial, not metric. Agreed, the heads of metric fasteners are measured across the flats in metric, but the spanners are not called AF, just referred to by the fastener head size, eg 13mm.
It may have been helpful to read your own link - i.e. "The most common Imperial standard in classics built after 1960 is the 'increments of one inch across flats' or 'AF' system."

Sorry not so an AF spanner will fit UNC (Unified Course) or UNF (Unified Fine) but they are not Imperial you may find the link below useful
Thanks for that, just reserved one for collection tomorrow, should be OK to keep in the car for emergencies and well worth the extra fiver

who uses imperial anymore? Harley Davidson but they don't make cars.

Imperial sizes are Whitworth and BSF etc.
SAE or AF as they are also known are what were commonly used on on non european/metric vehicles before the now standard european metric fasteners

Cheap , but I dont see how they can call it a mechanics set when they don't include sockets
that can undo wheel nuts, like 19mm!

Whats the quality like on this? Looks like more of budget brand or am I wrong?

Of course it is a budget brand! This is £10 for a bag of tools, the cheapest Snap-On spanner would cost that much. I've added heat, it would be much better to have and use these tools around the house or car than it would be to use a Leatherman!

Reviews say the extender bar breaks easily suggesting cheap metal.

Looks good value. Some screwdriver bits would have been useful though.
