How do you plug both of the pair in at the same time to get stereo? They each appear to have separate jack plugs, whereas most equipment they’ll be used on would have a single stereo jack output.

u0421793, you can plug each X-mini speaker to another (they have an output 3.5mm jack as well), in a chain (can do with even more than 2)
Edit: Actually just realised that I have a different model and that the "Buddy-Jack" chain would be a chain of mono speakers...but still a nice feature.
almost 5000, 4.5 star feedbacks on amazon and i couldnt DISSAGREE more! absolutely crap speakers! i had one from amazon it distorted, sounded marginally better than my phone speaker and that stupid short cable that places it a couple of inches from your phone like a ball and chain! much much happier with my bluetooth speaker!

I kinda agree with this. I used to have some XMI's and though I thought they were fantastic for the size and price things have moved on and you can get much better speakers for not much more these days.

£7.99 on Amazon and the X Mini 2 superseded this some time ago and is generally a much better product for £7.98!
Still, a nice £2 saving....
Also, the rechargeable battery is built in

It's not a £2 saving, as it's £5.99 for a PAIR of these speakers, so it's a £10 saving on the Amazon price for 2 speakers.

For starters it doesnt do crystal clear audio, neither 16 hours, which is a ludicrous suggestion.

I have an X-mini 2 which does a week's worth of 8hour shifts easily between charges yet it's only rated as having a 12hour battery - surely comes down to how loud you play music.
wait do you need to put batteries in these to work?
Or does the phone, tablet etc power it?

I am listening to the speakers I picked up today and I have to say they are very good considering the size and the price. They are rechargeable with built in batteries just to make it clear and are supplied with a soft carrying case and a lead for charging and connecting as a set of stereo speakers.

Well i'm well pleased with these........
For the portability the sound is fine and if i daisy chain them together or use the stereo lead they will also act as an aerial for my personal DAB radio and the FM radio on my Sansa Clip MP3 and phone, something my old single portable speaker wouldn't do.
Great deal for a paltry 6 quid.
