Can't see that being cheap, looks like it's going to include a Freeview tuner as well unless I've misread it?
EDIT: Picked up my black now tv box from Argos today, the speed difference on iPlayer is night and day. Worth it for that alone.

Never had the white NOW TV Box personally (though I always wanted one before ... lol), but I do own the black NOW TV Box, & its HOT HOT HOT from what i've so far been able to make of it ..... :-)
The ethernet Port is a verrryyyyy cool 'addition' inclusion in the black ones over that of the white wi-fi only ones (though the wi-fi on the black ones are so far sweet within itself .. no issues). :-)

Hi ... Sorry to show my ignorance but can anyone help with the following information.
1. Are these boxes different from the black boxes available just before Christmas... I bought 3
2. If they are different/better, can I use the vouchers from my present black boxes with one of these new boxes
3. Finally when I put Sky to watch now/live I can only see what is presently on and the next programme to be shown... is there anyway to see what is on later in the evening and set up a reminder for a later programme
thanks in advance Jane

1. The boxes are the same
2. Your vouchers are on your account and will be valid on whatever boxes you have linked to your account.
3. No. :-)

Is YouTube faster on the new ones? I find it annoying slow on the white.

Thanks, my daughter already has one but I've cancelled Sky Movies and was going to switch to these in the rest of the house but all on a new account rather than being in her name.
Is that correct, in that non-On Demand movies are SD only? I'm sure even my daughter's white box is at 720p (unless it switches down when the movie starts)? If it is, I'll put my old Apple TV 3 in the living room and the black Now boxes on the others
do you use any of the subs, sly plex for example?

I know there's a limit on adding one box per account per month, but is that calendar month or every 30/31 days? If I set up one today, say, could I set another one up on Monday, or have to wait until 29th Feb?

You can add up to 4 boxes
Once you reached the 4 limit, it's one per month change

Apart from the wired connection, any benefit of these over the last generation boxes? Is plex/navigating menus snapier on these ones?

Very snappy compared to the white ones, much improved.
Awsome deal voted hot and picking up two later on

Was wondering the same, iPlayer is dire these days on the white ones. I'm guessing that Rarflix is still the best option but is it optimised for these boxes?

Thats MAD CHEAP?!, Sainsburys (if your fortunate enough that is ... ) sells this same new NOW TV Box with 2 Day Sports Pass for £12! (& if your NOT so fortunate enough ... ) its £15 instead!, so ..... :-)
I had previously contemplated on the £12 Sainsburys one one time cos' of the cheapness of it (purely for the cheapness of a spare NOW TV Box alone!, couldn't be arsed for the Sports Pass/Passes, I'm more a Movies &/or Entertainment kind of individual, lol), but now ...

On the quality front, while I was looking at the NowTV website I came across this table:
