Nissin Demae reminds me of a long winded joke about a bloke in South Africa who kept getting car spare parts delivered to his home, turns out he was Nelson Mandela and not a Nissan Main Dealer.
Voted hot. Good price for top brand noodles. Awful merchant though.

Put some meat and vegetables in and voila! Japanese noodles in your home..
Try crack an egg into the noodles, give it a bit stirring and let it cook for about 30 second before serving. It does taste good too.

I will have to try the egg tip, I normally just put some meat in the pan when it cooks

Just bought a load last week; children now prefer the chicken and the spicy.

actually that's cheaper than some supermarkets in Chinatown. Though I think these Tesco ones are produced in the EU. The Chinatown ones are most likely HK imports which has better ramen texture.

Kill you quickly though. I remember reading an article about what makes the noodle - some hydrocarbon product .. Any way, we have to enjoy ourselves sometimes...

The best is with PRAWNS - just don't think about them being imported from polluted Southeast Asian countries...

definitely my favorite brand, the pork and spicy ones are lovely (especially if you chop some ham and spring onion into pork one)
bloody awful for you but do the job for a quick filling warm meal - i have one of those systema clip lid bowls, just pour boiling water over the contents, close lid and leave for 5min

Ewwww, if they're anything like the 1s you get from the chinese supermarkets, they taste 100x better cooked in a pot. Give it a go  plus it only takes about 3mins this way.

Has it ever been proven that these are really that bad for you? I know it's been proven that they take much longer to digest than fresh noodles and that they have a shelf life of about 500 years which suggests they might not be the healthiest thing to eat but has it ever been established that they are especially worse than the average stuff a human eats day to day?

Koka is halal as they are made in Singapore. Nissin is not.
