Probably fake ones. The legits go for a lot more.

Recently started using Dolphin with a 4 port USB adapter which works great. So now using GameCube controller on PC, Wii, WiiU. ;-).

Seems to be some random Wii U stock being displayed at Game stores at the moment. Managed to get a brand new (but very grubby looking box) Triton Wii U headset for £4.99. Worth popping in if you're looking for a bargain.
There's no stock anywhere according to their website. Pity as I'm after a Gamecube controller. Here's hoping Amazon price match.

This is the one that requires GameCube adapter right? Rather than the one that goes into a wii remote which I think is an almost semi official one by hori.
Don't know why I'm asking anyway....have 6 or 7 controllers for this game and zero interest amongst my approximately 4 friends
Out of interest, anyone with a 3ds (not sure limitations but my new xl def works) can download a patch for cheap to allow them to use it as a controller. No good for me, I spent nearly £30 for the 3ds version primarily for this reason just as they released this functionality

Yes, it's basically an original GameCube controller.
While we're on the subject of different controllers, does anyone know the name of the one that acts as both a Pro and Classic controller on the Wii U? I believe it's got a physical switch to switch between them. I'm pretty sure I saw someone mention it on this site before.
I've already got a GameCube adapter to use my Wavebird with my Wii U, which is great but it doesn't work with games like Wind Waker HD. So I was going to get a Pro controller for that but would also like a Classic controller for retro games - and then I realised I'm going to end up with 5 different controllers for the same console, and that's before I even consider multiplayer!

When searching for stock on their website it says £9.99 instore and so I would suggest this is nationwide.

It's nationwide but finding a store with these over a year since release will be incredibly difficult.
