The recommended sizes are usually for the looks only.

50" screens are 110cm wide; you also have the width of the bezels to take into account. Either way this unit is 105cm wide so the TV will be slightly wider than the stand, if you're OK with that, then it should be fine. The only concern I'd have is the weight, this is likely to be cheap MDF / laminate so may bow in the middle of the shelf where the TV's weight is concentrated.

Is it rubbish I may cancel? Myself . But having looked around different t stores these type of designed are around 70 kwid but I want to know the material if it's rubbish I'm going to return back

I just cancelled, don't think anyone actually received it, was probably just a few people being daft I still think it looks decent for the price. Bargaincrazy still have the matching coffee table too
There's some reviews of the black model here, generally positive but some poor... I was put off by the size more than anything else as the unit we have now is 60cm high so I wasn't sure how it would look as we have high ceilings. I still think it would be good for the price

Lets be honest for £33 you cant go wrong. At that price if you don't like the shade of wood you could always give it a paint! Heat added

I wonder if Very sell this. Just saw on Supershoppers on Channel 4 that Littlewoods is the same compay. But Very always seem to sell the same items cheaper. :confused:

It is easier to work it all out with 'likes' and "replies" etc from an iPad/tablet/PC.
Some phones allow you to do the basics on the app, but I know on my phone I can't 'like' anything, it only allows me to reply.
