Phew, Overwhelmed by the love im going for a record 2nd post in a month!
As cheap as its ever going to get, Ninty have it for £7.99 Amazon for £6.85 so its cheaper by a bit.
Having owned the last model they still haven't weighted them anymore so they are still on the light side. But for those with faceplates they can look pretty jazzy when set up. No charger included.
Edit: still available as of 4th April!

I was intending to retire the deal but as of today (12th march) its still available. Ive found it pretty handy but its a bit slippy on a hard surface so blu tack or some rubber feet help to stop it potentially sliding around. Ive not found it to stiff or loose like some reviewers, it seems perfectly ok.

ordered, got an extra 40 ish p off too for the gold account or whatever they call it, much better than having it on the floor charging!

Tempted but reviews say it is "wobbly" on the dock and you need to hold the base when you pull it off again.. Anyone actually used one?

I have one. It is a little wobbly, I've never had it fall out though, and you don't need to hold the base when you lift the 3DS out of it.

Yeah the xl version doesn't seem to drop below £9 something and at that price i personally wouldn't bite. I will at below £5 for my new 3ds especially as i imported the Hanafuda plates (#71) for it which look amazing.
