I have this and it's fantastic for a basic large file transfer USB stick!
Not the fastest, but still pretty quick, and for less than £20 it's a lot of storage for your money! 15p/GB!

Cheap rattly plastic case: check
Super slow: check
Cheap per GB price for anyone who doesn't care about either of those things for a purpose they could use it: check
Would be fine for say plugging into the back of a TV for time shifting/recording.
I've got a couple of the 16gb £1 special offer drives that mymemory had a while back and they really are really really cheap pieces of tat so in the vast majority of cases for a flash drive I'd pay a little more and have something smaller, faster and better made. I have one inside my NAS as the boot device and one stuck in a draw with the Windows 10 installer on it which get's used like 3 times a year. Not worth having anything expensive for those purposes.
So hot for those cases where it doesn't matter how cheap a piece of tat it is.

I use this sort of speed/capacity USB stick to store things like Reference PDF's, manuals, firmware, IT Tools, pocket version of programs, IT rescue and disc tools, Linux on a pendrive (painfully slow to statrtup) etc. To be honest I can pretty much max out a 64GB stick.. so had to expand
Nothing tooooo big in one hit, but ideal for this sort of thing. :innocent:

These aren't as slow as everyone makes out... Then again I don't sit there watching the file transfer, got better things to do.

If you're getting it for personal use, there's a 128GB Samsung at MyMemory for ~£24 :-)
I don't mind the "slightly slower" speeds of these for what I use it for personally.
