I hate playing this online now as everyone just chain combos so if they get one attack past you then you're pretty much dead..

You need to brush up on your game then. max damage in combos for certain characters is usually 50% in the corner, mid screen usually 20-35 (rarely 40)

Half of your life for missing one block or being blocked and countered is pretty insane. Tbh it's just kind of boring with the same old characters doing the same old combos. Scorpion and ermac for example. I'd rather dip into a game like cod and enjoy myself.

I'm not voting either way but this is still a LOT to pay for what is a pretty old release now. The original base game can be found for around £17 - sometimes even less, the DLC is bound to come up on offer and still won't reach the £29.95 mark.

Say you got the game at 17. You are then saying that you will get kombat pack 1 and 2 and the other various dlc for less than 13 quid when both packs are 15.99 each and then there is goro which I think is about 3.99

For 30 this is a great deal if you want the complete version - this should have been the version that came out day 1

How do you know it is on the disc? They usually just have the base game and a dlc code as it saves them re-pressing the discs.

Plus it won't take up any less room as it will still install it and will be the exact same size as if you bought the dlc for the vanilla game :smiley:

If you want the new fighters I would say grab the kombat pack 2. There no guarantee the disc contains anything but the base game with separate dlc codes. Quite a few games did that, re distribute the original disk with codes to make it complete

Sell your original copy of mortal kombat on ebay and sell kombat pack 1.

Then keep mortal kombat xl with kombat pack 2.

I actually don't mind dlc if it's a full mission filled ad on. All these extra costumes and single mission dlcs are a waste of money.

Effectively you pay £70 for a game. £40 when it comes out and £30 for the season pass and even then some dlc isn't included in the season pass.
