yeah, i would say if youre serious about the game then just wait for the XL version with all dlc characters. i think GORO, the pre order dlc character is only availible in the MKXL version if you never pre ordered the game so thats something to consider
if you are lucky they will all be on disc too
also the game is about to get a MASSIVE update with the netcode for better online. i would even recommend waiting for that too because i bought this game day 1 and stopped playing because online was bad. looking forward to the update to start playing again.
