with a good sauce tastes better than the thought of eating minced offcuts of a dead animal

It has no taste. If you haven't got the culinary nonce to put together a decent sauce then stay clear.

Who is CSPI? Are they more reliable than the NHS or FSA?
All foods can be dangerous to sensitive individuals. I bet more people are dangerously sensitive to peanuts than they are Quorn so are this CSPI urging retailers not to sell peanuts too?

Please stop quoting that inaccurate rubbish. You only made yourself look foolish.

CSPI is an American charity (or non-profit I think they call them over there.) They have various crusades against alcohol and so on. According to a Fox News investigation CSPI have a murky history of collaboration with Quorn's largest US competitor lol

Its painfully obvious after 5 minutes of reading CSPI that they are corporate shills, but still people keep quoting it on HUKD. Anyone who believes the rubbish they come up with is exposing their lack of objective reasoning skills.

Of course it has a taste you ignorant fool. It also has a texture which affects whether people like it or not - though if you don't have the culinary nuance to appreciate that I guess it's best you stick to pouring sauce on "flavourless" protein.

Constipation and extra smelly farts, no thanks. Good price though. Enjoy if your stomach can handle it!

Almost everyone I've spoken to likes it. I have no idea why as although I'm vegetarian and love a variety of Quorn products I think it tastes nothing whatsoever like mince and pretty vile, but it's clearly popular!
