Just let my inner geek out on this, bought a couple for nephews & bought one for myself so I could help them in case they got stuck (well that's what I told my husband anyway & there's no way he'd argue, he wouldn't want to feel the force).
The reviews are decent & looking at customers own pics on the site, they seem quite well made. Being sold for £5 -£7.99 on ebay & elsewhere.

I've no idea, it suggests on the net that they come as metal sheets & you pop the pieces out, bend the tabs and connect them at the attachment points.
I bought one a few months ago and the are very fiddly (you will need tweezers and pliers to put it together) but look great one finished!

you get 2 sheets of metal.as said need some small tools. they look good but getting the pieces off the metal sheet is tricky.

I had the Tie Fighter and X Wing back near Christmas. The happiest I have ever been was when the job of putting them together was behind me.

Bear in mind this is a counterfeit copy of the original Metalworks item, I have not done any digging around to assess quality differences with the official licensed Metalworks and I am sure they are still fun, but buyer be aware I say.
Be interested to hear from anyone that has compared the two for quality comparison.

I just bought this too.. very fiddle.. to many turns and it will snap.. you have to be very careful .. once the metal snaps of where you dont want it .. its all over :o(
