I received my console and the seal on the bottom is broken and a new seal has been placed on top of it. I read that this can be either because the seller opened the box to place the codes to download the games or the console is a return / refurbished one. Has this happened to anyone else?

Did the box have an outer sleeve with details about Forza and Fifa? Fifa and 14 day trial of EA games were just bits of thin card slipped in the box that have scratch off codes. Have a good look through the box they should be in there.

Mine had also been opened at the bottom but, as rencar say, this was probably just to put Forza in. Looks like it was once a standard Xbox One package and then they opened the bottom to put Forza in and then put a cardboard sleeve round for the new package.Everything else looks reasonably ok although Xbox box and handset box where a bit crushed at the corners. It has to be said the packing was not very good.

Mine literally just arrived. I found the bottom of the box open, but I wonder if that is when they put the shrink wrapped boxed disk version of Forza 6 into the pack? The FIFA 16 is the usual scratch off card. Everything in the box was brand new, UK version etc.

I was expecting a scratch off code for Forza 6, so this is even better, receiving a full disk version.

I also ordered an extra controller which has arrived with it, making the whole package really good value with the further £20 discount. It's now spending the first hour or two downloading it's massive update!

The box for mine was also damaged - not open but damaged.. Not sure how or why.
Xbox works fine - installed Fifa and Forza (took a couple of hours!!) but all works great.

Kettle (freebie) also arrived same day and does what you expect a basic kettle to do haha.

I finally bit as these 2 games are the only ones I want. I nearly bit when it was on at £249 a couple of months back but wanted to wait and see. At this price the console is basically sub £200. I would have preferred the 1TB one but waiting for that deal to crop up again with these 2 games at a cheap price is probably going to be a never ending wait.

Agree the coolshop 1tb deal was good, but would still rather but this bundle for £229 and buy an external USB3 2tb hard drive (that are continually posted on HUKD for around the £50-60 mark). This way (for an additional £20-£30 you get a 2.5tb capacity (2.5x bigger) and faster read write speeds. Hot deal - well spotted op.

have been looking at a XO for my son for a while now and ended up getting the Coolshop £259 1 Tb offer as it seemed to be a fantastic deal compared to the 500 gb versions. just looked and it's now gone upto £299 :smiley:

Voted hot as this bundle seems to be about £15-20 cheaper from when I was looking over the weekend
