That graph doesn't tell the true story. Microsoft simply hasn't released any flagship Lumia's in the past year and has waited to get Windows Phone 10 out. Could be a mistake, and it hasn't helped them. There's some really nice features in Windows Phone OS, however some of the apps are truly terrible.

If anyone is just buying a Lumia now, check out the Lumia offers app. They are offerring £50 promotional credit to you and the person who recommended you to the Lumia. The crap bit is they need to recommend it before you've activated it.
For example, I got someone's email address off twitter by searching #LumiaRewards but because he recommended it yesterday and I activated a few weeks ago, I can't claim :disappointed:
If anyone wants to say I recommended a Lumia to them, you can try my email address: mtoner at hotmail dot com in the app since I'm a registered Windows Phone user - we should both get £50 credit

Though not a biggie, note these come without a USB cable - as it's USB c, you probably won't have one laying around so will need to buy one at the same time.

Are you sure? My XL came with a USB-C cable, and when I ordered my free dock, that also came with a cable.

The one I ordered was listed as "missing accessories" though it still came with a charger. I looked it up and I believe it is supposed to come with both a charger and a separate USB-C lead (rather than them trying to just make the lead attach to the plug).
It also has wireless charging so I'm able to charge it using my Lumia 920 wireless charger. If you look at the list of features this phone has, it ticks ALOT of boxes

Continium is a major reason for me to consider upgrading, but unfortunately that is the only reason, and I can't justify spending a windows tablet price, just so I don't have to take a windows tablet on the road.
I think the problem with Lumia phones is they don't provide any reason to want to upgrade, Apple have the sheep who must have the latest version, Android simply keeps on being updated, and most manufacturers stop providing updates fairly quickly, so if you want the latest version, then you upgrade. Whereas windows phone, if anything gets better on the old hardware with new releases, the hardware still works fine, unlike previously with all my Android phones, I don't need to upgrade and as I quite like my Lumia, I don't want to risk swapping to something not as good.
If they bring out a surface phone, with looks to rival the premium Apple and Android phones, with continium and at a sensible price point, I might jump, but at the moment my lumia 925 is just fine, it's a great phone, with a great camera and an OS that works well for me.

I agree with you Mike. I have had a 920 for 2 years and I am still happy with it. I will upgrade to a 950 once I find a similar contract deal. I am definitely not interested in getting mugged off by Apple for £800 every year to become part of their brainwashed cult. I have previously had an iPhone and hated it. Good grief you have to jailbreak it to be able to do anything with it.

I switched from a 925 to the 950XL in December, and it's a fantastic phone. Continuum is great; I work for a software company and frequently give presentations and demos. I can do this from my phone now - full HD ppt presentation on the projector with speaker notes on the phone's display and my normal Logitech wireless mouse plugged into the display dock USB port to control it. I demo the software using the Continuum-enable RDP-beta, giving a full HD desktop experience of a remote Server 2012 Azure VM. To the people in the room, it looks like I'm on the server itself - no lag and 100% desktop features on the remote machine. The trouble is that the customers end up more interested in the phone than our software.

Hmm, so can you tell me what £100 phone has a 2560x1440 AMOLED screen, with 564 dpi (compared to iPhone 6 'retina' [ha ha ha] 1334x760, 326 dpi), 32Gb built in memory expandable to >1Tb, 20Mp camera, 5Mp front camera, Zeiss lens with triple LED flash, only 150g, 3340MAhreplaceable battery?

Mine arrived this morning. I accidentally ordered one that was missing a USB cable but apart from that everything seems brand new.
First impressions are that the plastic cover does feel and look a bit cheap but only until I get a cover ordered for it. It feels super fast after my 920 and the screen and photo quality are amazing. The Iris scanner to unlock is cool and I've already got a 64Gb SD in it. I'm also eligible for Office 365 for 1 year.

I've ordered from them a load of times and items have always been as good as new. I've never had to send anything back though I think others have said it was fine.
I'm waiting for mine and if its not perfect, it's going back but given how old it is, I can't see that it won't be.

£320 for a 950xl is sooo tempting...argh...what to do... :man:
Does anyone know what their 14 day return policy is like? If it came in any condition other than 'as new' I'd want to send it back.
Also, the bottom of the page says 'All authorised returns are free.' But higher up it says, 'Buyer pays return postage.

Just ordered this to upgrade from my 920. Heat added. Got my wife a 1520 and she loves it though its hard to get them without them being very used so this feels like a safer bet. I just hope I'm not being more loyal to Windows Phone than Microsoft.

Feels cheap and nasty, buy the moto x style for a tenner more and get a premium looking and feeling device for the money.

Yes it is a brilliant idea and in the real world [we do a lot of video marketing] a great concept..
However, this handset is a dumper, it should never have been made and really is a crappy
handset, with 3 year old tech that you can get elsewhere for £100 [ish] on other phones..
Heavy is spot on with the graph and not only has this and the XL failed to even get warm
where MSmobile needed it to as far as sales are going, the Blu Win HD [yes that one!] is
selling like hot cakes and can do everything [nearly] that this *should have been £199 in
the first place* handset can do..
If you are after a stop gap windows based OS phone, would suggest either the Blu Win
HD + Win 10 OS or just wait until MS realize these are still stupid money and sell them
off like the 550's ;-)

The 950 was the flagship (snapdragon 808, 3GB RAM, 20MP awesome camera, premium materials) we'd been waiting 2 years for but even diehards have jumped ship. Great hardware, lovely OS, no apps :-(
