Great price and the Mewtwo toy really looks impressive albeit it's tad small (normal for amiibos).

Sold my copy of Twilight Princess on GameCube after seeing the Wii U version so games like TP and WW I don't care about their NGC versions as they're also on Wii U (TPWii is mirrored so doesn't count).

amiibo will go the same route as everything else nintendo. despite selling millions, when they stop producing them, nintendo fans will panic and go mad on ebay trying to buy them all up
that and the fact that most nintendo fans never get rid of their stuff. they just keep it boxed up on their shelves forever which makes something that sold bajillions seem impossible to find
ps thanks for the post, bought one

I've learned my lesson and Nintendo stuff that I want, I keep while anything I don't want it's sold on eBay or wherever.
Maybe I should get a GameCube but already have a Wii which is hacked and fully compatible with NGC so.. nah.
My stupid question : would this mean I could use Mewtwo in Mario Kart 8?

Never mind, found a guide on Nintendo's site and apparently not.

Wouldn't say its just a statue... you can still use it like a normal amiibo in smash without the dlc

"statue" really? Well, it's a really small "statue" then.

Probably a stupid question but does this unlock the ability to play as Mewtwo? or is it just a statue if you don't have the DLC? Either way great price

Just a statue. You'll still need to buy the DLC to get Mewtwo in Smash.

I bought a bunch of Amiibos (10) all together when someone posted a list of ones ShopTo were selling at this price a few weeks ago. They got sent nicely packaged with air bags in a cardboard box. Not sure how many Amiibo's you'd have to buy for ShopTo to deem it worthy of a box?

Thanks for the heads up. Not a bad price on the mii amiibos either.

Not like I care about amiibos anyway, except for any DLC content they may have so in that case I get one and then sell it off.
EDIT: There's the Animal Crossing Amiibo Cards and Mewtwo Amiibo Card so that's a start but anyone who wants a cheap way to acquire amiibo is already aware of Amiiqo and DYI Custom Amiibo Cards.

Cards turned out to be the Animal Crossing cards which I believe they are testing for interest across the four sets. For now the bulk are gonna remain figures I suspect until they see a marked decline in take up and need to rethink the model.

I wish you luck with that but has it not been announced recently that Nintendo will be starting to retire older amiibos and create cards versions? I doubt demand will die of soon enough to justify retailers slashing prices that much but I will also keep my fingers crossed for £1 amiibos

So it's pretty much safe to say that amiibos are worth **** all these days :/ better start unboxing all mine.

Plan on getting a whole pile of amiibos when they're like £1 but it's still going to take a few years till then.

Just be aware, ShopTo send Amiibos in jiffy bags, which is risky if you like to keep them in box. They also dispatch so quickly you'd have trouble cancelling.
