I found these in poundland Leigh. Know they have decent branded cosmetics on and off, but posted as these are definitely the colours my daughters would choose. I guess that makes them modern? You wouldn't think from the eye-rolls I get, that I was actually wearing make-up myself, before they were born!
And no, I like a sludgy brown shadow and pale pink nails :) Beats paying £8 each for em, anyway :)

Also various Max Factor and Rimmel at £1 in B&M.
Not that I was specifically looking for it or anything.

The only problem I have found with some of the £ shop make up is that some of it is past it's best. I tried some mascara which flaked very badly and gave me really sore eyes, I also bought some lipgloss which was dried and gloopy.

I was about to post my find @ Superdrug - they have cleared a few ranges off the shelves and marked them down to 10p each!

Why can I never find anything like this? And I purposely frequent a lor of different Poundlands for this very reason

Oh, believe me, this is more or less a first for me- I've had many fruitless callings in to poundshops. I only tend to go as far as the make-up bit, then leave

Ooh, I've never tried them actually, think I'll nick that pinky red for me. Think they've changed the shape of the bottle slightly, like the Rimmel did last year. That was mad, my fave lip gloss was still being sold at £6.99, in an ever so slightly different container, and I was picking up the original packaging one for £1
