Good price for these cars. John Lewis are having a clear out. Some people seem to be able to find these in Bargain BM for similar price, but my local Bargain BM store never has these.
They are well made for the price. Scale 1:43 (they are a little bit bigger than a Hot Wheels car to give an idea of size). Kids who like Mario, love these cars.
Delivery/Collection options:
Click & collect is free if spending over £30, otherwise its £2 (poor in my opinion!).
Free Delivery if spending over £50, otherwise a £3.50 delivery charge applies.
Would be an ideal add on item if you need to spend a few more pounds on top of other purchase you may be making.

Very poorly made, I agree with that statement. my 5 year old had two of them and they both broke within a week. won't pull back anymore

Anyone knows if you pull a pullback car back too much it breaks the mechanism. Applies to any pullback toy. Don't blame the toy, blame the lack of appropriate supervision...
My one year old has the Yoshi version of these and my 4 year old has played with it too. Not broken yet.

Bought these last year for the kids. They fell apart within a few minutes of play. They are very poorly made. Tyres fell off, the exhausts snapped off. They are poundland quality

Doesn't sound like the same ones? There are quite a few variations and different generations of released Mario Kart toy cars like these, that look similar. My kid plays with these exact ones, and no problems here.

Are these the cars that go with the Nintendo Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Track Set that was recently £6 at Tesco direct?

NO. The track is usually your living room floor

I wish they'd do away with the click and collect charge.

Not seen the twin packs but if anyone is after these they sell the single ones for £2.99 in home bargains

My kids would love these but the click and collect fee has put me off

I agree, the £2 C+C for an under £30 spend is appalling. Not like John Lewis at all who generally have good customer service.

Thanks, literally just updated the description with more detailed delivery/collect options.
EDIT: As in description folks free click n collect if spending over £30 anyway. Free delivery only applies for a £50+ spend. Might be a good add on item for those who can't get into a store and have to buy online.
