Just brought this with 8% quidco and flubited a second 4.0ah battery for £55 so roughly £166 with 2 x 4.0ah batteries absolute steal .

will never buy anything that uses a battery from makita, their batteries are rubbish and drills are weak. fair product for home diy, not at all for professionals, trust me!!

****! I have makita batteries that are 5+ years old and still going strong... Same with drills, impact drivers. Other than changing brushes they are bulletproof!

Sorry. Can't delete last post. That's only a 3ah battery with that bundle it looks like from picks. But hard to make out.
Can get the 458 with a 4ah battery for £128 off amazon. No case. Just body only drill & battery

This is a very good deal. I've just spent £175 on the de Walt equivalent with 2x 1.3ah batteries. This is a bargain!!

Max Torque: 50 Nm which is not a lot when you want to drill into masonry but ideal as a home DIY drill for the money and the 4aH batteries now are being replaced with 5aH

No it wasn't , I bought the Wickes one and I'd had a 3ah battery and a lower spec drill.
