'using Hola VPN set to Brazil'
The only things I trust Brazilians with are genital waxing and nuts.
Those two things are not connected, I put the nuts in my mouth.
I'm just making this worse. I shall stop typing.

I tried to get it back when it was around 22 quid, if you try the vpn method it won't work because of the paypal account being linked to a UK address, there is a workaround around this somewhere on reddit where you basically create a brand new paypal (Argentina based) and then use entropay to verify it for the initial payment, then you can transfer money between uk and Argentinian paypal there is some fees involved, but it would still probably work out cheaper than buying games here, here's the comment from reddit on how to do it if anyone is interested:
1) Created Argentenian PP account (google a Argentinian address)
2) Create an Entropay Account
3) Top-up the virtual credit card (use your real creditcard/bank account address here)
4) Add/Link that credit card to your Argentenian PP account
5) Paypal will ask you to verify it by sending a pre-auth charge with a 4-pin code
6) Wait 2days+ and then check your entropay balance statement
7) Get the 4digit pin code and enter it on paypal :sunglasses: Turn on your VPN to any south america country
9) Use it to pay it in nuuvem

Heat from me!
Slightly off-topic, I'm interested in buying The Division Gold Edition (£28) from Nuuvem. Has anyone had any experiences with purchasing uPlay codes from them? I know Ubisoft are funny around region restrictions so thought it best to ask.

It depends on the game, some are region locked and some aren't. I bought both Metal Gear Rising and Lords of The Fallen and they activated fine.

This was $29.99 the other day - I bought it and it worked out at £5.54 with Paypal's conversion rates. Now it's $35.99, which works out at £6.64 at that same rate, or £5.98 after 10% off. So you might have to amend the deal price.
Some keys are region locked, some aren't. These keys aren't region locked, but the website that sells them is, so you're using a VPN to bypass the website's location check to buy region free keys. They activate just fine on Steam without a VPN. If you ever do buy a region locked key, don't use a VPN to activate it on Steam, or if you do, you do it at your own risk - Valve could remove it sooner or later and maybe even lock your account. Nuuvem does sell some region locked games but you won't be able to buy them with a UK Paypal account (and it does usually state on the game page when it's region restricted).
Just try to buy them. In my experience, if you try to buy from Nuuvem with a VPN set to Brazil, it will let you buy some games but not others. The ones it doesn't let you buy seem to be subject to further checks - like checking your Paypal account for your address and your Brazilian national ID, which you won't have. Every game it has let me buy has given me a region free key - so if you can buy it, you can activate it.
Impressive, I've almost given up on the hoop jumping :disappointed:

Yeah, the Gold Edition (with the season pass) is £28 so was tempted. I've got an Entropay account (virtual visa) so payment isn't an issue just wondered if anyone had purchased a uPlay code from them. Thanks all.

so say it is region locked, and you activated through VPN. can you play normally in UK? or do you have to use vpn every time you want to play?

Did anyone else get any DLC with this? Even though it's not mentioned on the Nuuvem page, for me it included 4 pieces of DLC - The Ripper, Thirst Cutter, Rockmaw Brawla and Pentacal Gulp Cut.
I think that depends on the game - I've only ever activated one game using a VPN on Steam (I went to great lengths and expense to import a retail copy of something from the US, and when it arrived it turned out the key was region locked, I was so annoyed that I just went ahead and used a VPN) but I've never had an issue like that - it plays fine in the UK, even though it's clearly marked as being activated by a US retail key in my account. However, I have seen other people say that they need a VPN to play some games after activating - and recently I've also seen people say that this is only necessary for the first 3 months, after that a VPN is not required for some reason. But it really is advisable to avoid using a VPN with Steam itself.
That's interesting - I tried something similar by making a Brazilian Paypal account but I got stuck when trying to find a payment method, so that's a good suggestion. So are there games on Nuuvem that are address-locked but still give region free keys?

You have to be a masochist to put up with all that hassle to pay less for a crappy game. Learn to love yourself, torrent it.

I just tried it with Revolut, and it didn't like the card. My Revolut app came up saying paypal charged, but it was stuck as pending, and paypal said it couldn't add the card. So I had to fall back to using my Entropay.

I had a friend ask if they could purchase it and send me the key as a gift but the nuuvem support team replied to say the key would be region locked to South America although I don't know anyone has put this to the test.

has this gone up? I'm getting £6.59 through Paypal now. I cancelled it before payment as CD Keys has been nearly that low in the past so I think I'll just wait for them to put it on sale again....

Yes, it was R$29.99 last week, which was £5.54. Now it's $35.99, which worked out to £6.64 yesterday but Paypal exchange rates vary from day to day. Use the 10% off code and it should be more like £5.90.

I bought Syndicate from Nuuvem last year and it wasn't region locked. Ubisoft may have changed their mind for The Division with it being a bigger release, I dunno.
