Seems a good price for 4 series in HD and half price of the blu Ray equivalent on Amazon

The text in the OP. What's good value about 16 episodes (approx) for £15?
I bought the X-Files box set for £35 with 9 series. There are more episodes in the first series than the whole Luther box set.

Bit misleading really, as there's only about 4 episodes per series.

I agree. Calling 2 episodes a series is a bit misleading. They should've just called it a 2 part Special.

Just watch them on Netflix, free for the first month.
Season four isn't in there yet, but it's only a two parter, and IMO the weakest series by far.

don't buy. All versions of luther for some reason are cut on digital distribution, full versions are only on DVD. Can tell as episode length is 52 minutes and full should be 1 hour as it is on the DVD. I think this is the version that was sold to US TV so that they can still adverts in.
This applies to netflix, would love to watch this but don't want to watch something where 8 minutes an episode are cut.
This also applies to other bbc shows; ashes to ashes is only other one I know of but there is probably others.

edit: looks like season 1 is cut and season 2 -4 is ok.
