Idris Elba stars as John Luther, the near-genius detective waging his own war on crime. To say that John Luther is a passionate, troubled and driven man is a little like saying that Luther , the BBC One smash hit, is amongst the best crime drama available in the world right now - in other words a little bit of an understatement (in our humble opinion).
If you haven't yet experienced the tight scripting, superb acting and brilliantly executed plotting that Luther embodies, don't chide yourself for being late the party because you are in for a treat.
