As many of us know, half term can be stressful for some and/or cost an absolute fortune on days out or even taking the family out for the day!
Back in the day i just had pogs and was happy :P
I've put together a few cheaper days out / family discounts - I'll be adding more links as & when (see 1st comment) to help all of you with the cost and maybe even some will be free.
If you do spot any others, as i'm sure you will, feel free to comment and i'll add to the list.

Haha pogs bring back memories! I remember The Beano ran a promotion where you got a packet for free with it. The Beano was 40p or thereabouts while a packet of Pogs was about a quid. I cleaned out my local WH Smith of Beanos and pretty much completed the whole first series run. I was Lord of the Playground for all of about 3 weeks thanks to that.

South lakes safari zoo family ticket for £12.40
Go through Wire FM and buy printable voucher that gets 2 adults and 2 children (max age 15) in for £12.40. It is normally £15.50 per adult with 4 kids per adult so its a saving of £18.60. You also get to use the express queue to get in as you have paid in advance.
Vouchers can be used in school holidays and bank holidays.
You must print the voucher and take it with you. The zoo will not accept you showing them the voucher on your phone
Can anyone recommend anywhere that would suit both teenagers and lo's 15 year old down to a 1 year old? Thanks in advance.

I booked the Harry Potter studio tour tickets for us for half term, before christmas. We stay over for 1 night, but I'm looking for something to do when we travel back North the following day.
Thinking about diverting to RAF Cosford, near Birmingham, but this thread is great for getting other ideas too.

Not read through all of the comments, but another offer at the Shard is kids go free during half term.
Its a great list and very handy, it would be easier on the eye though ifd it was somehow area categorized somehow like this but probably not this and maybe seperate the national deals and such.
National - February half-term events at The National Trust
Staffordshire - Alton Towers - Pirates & Princess Week - 25% off
Multiple - Tesco Clubcard offers
National - Upto 50% off Butlins Passes
Staffordshire - Drayton Manor discounts
National - Theatre Tickets from £10
Dunsable - Whipsnade Zoo - Save on Family tickets
National - Kids eat free at Marston's Inns
Probably others think its fine though but just a thought

We're going to Cadbury world on Sunday 14th, gutted there aren't any great discounts (I can only see 5% off on their website). We're staying overnight so any suggestions on what we can do on the Monday? don't fancy Drayton Manor, I was thinking Dudley zoo but would be open to something else.

I'm sorry to say but I struggle to see why this keeps getting put back to the top as a hukd pick....the list is somewhat uninspiring with very little in the way of good deals and mainly the larger places where the crowds with little idea what else to do end up.

I think just about everything made it onto Pogs (or some kind of caps, even if they weren't official Pogs)! I know there were Star Wars Tazos when the remastered films got released in 1997. The Space Precinct ones were official though - and there was a whole series of 64! Don't know how rare they are but I've only got this one packet -

Triple figures?! That would be amazing. I've got the board game too, never played it! Also have Pog Micro Tournament, whatever that is. My main collection is a complete series one, complete series two and an almost-complete series three/World Tour (3 missing!) plus about 100 spares, 70 kinis and a few bits and pieces from other series, such as Space Precinct Pogs and Greens Cake Mix. No idea how much I'll get for them! Now if I could just find my Tazos...
Basically loads of massive sculptures of cartoon like animals
Free entry although car park is £8

That is exactly how I got into Pogs! Had been collecting the Beano for a few years, used to love the free gifts, especially when it was sweets, but then one week it had a packet of Pogs on the front and I felt like I had to collect the rest of the series. I actually found them all the other week doing a clearout and was wondering if they'd be worth anything these days. Probably nowhere near £1 for every 6!
