The grade B linx 10 I ordered yesterday arrived today by DPD. The tablet seems to be in overall very good condition. There's a plastic screen protector which has seen some action which will be removed but overall it appears to be ok with minimal wear on the rear. No charger or cable supplied with the tablet so I ordered a charging cable off EBay but I had one lying about anyway. Quite impressed with the speed of delivery

The Linx 1010 is the second generation model after the Linx 10.
The Linx 1010 bought new with keyboard is brilliant. I love it!

One of the major differences/improvements with the 'B', is that it has a full size USB port on the tablet part, whereas the older/previous model had it on the keyboard.
The one that Sainsburys had was a 'Lite' model, obviously a special done for Sainsburys, and obviously the older/previous model.
People need to keep their wits about them, and know about the different models/specs. Surprisingly, it's all easily found courtesy of Google!!

No keyboard included on the grade B Linx 10.
I'm just going to buy a generic case and one of the KKmoon bluetooth keyboards off EBay.

I ordered one of these from Amazon this weekend (arrived within two hours thank you Amazon now!)
Absolutely stunned at how much kit you get for the price. Very impressive.

Ah, my bad...that's a big improvement then because it's a bit of a pain having to carry an additional cable around.

Yes, Linx 10 was a small round DC plug. Linx 1010B is a normal micro USB.

Some confusing answers here. I have a linx 10 and it uses a 2.5mm round jack plug to connect to the linx itself, not a micro usb...

Brings a new one in the box, but works with regular micro USB as the cellphones

Does anyone know if these require device specific drivers or will standard Windows drivers work with the printer/scanner I have?

Standard drivers. It's exactly the same as a full Windows PC, only in tablet form

f your printer/scanner already works on Windows 10 (and probably Windows 8 ), then it will probably be fine. You may have a problem if your printer is several years old. For example, I have a Brother Printer/Scanner which is probably about 10 years old. It worked fine on Windows 7 but did not work properly after the upgrade to Windows 10. Brother said that the built-in Windows drivers would do the job but they don't, and Brother are not planning to develop new drivers for a 10 year +old machine. Fortunately, in my case, my laptop dual boots with XP and the Brother works fine in that. Windows 10 on a tablet works exactly the same way as on any other PC. N.B. What I'm saying is that is if your printer works on Windows 7 then, depending on its age, it should work in 8 or 10. Hope that makes sense.

Just ordered a Linx 7 but gotta go for this too at the price! Feedback seems to suggest Grade A is 'as new' too. Cheers.

daughter got this at cmas. fantastic wee machine for what she needs for school work. cam use word, power point etc , good for games, Netflix, kindle too. Hard to detach her from it these days but Def worth every penny spent on it. (got a deal off amazon for £129 new before cmas).

Does this have a dedicated charger or can it use a 'normal' USB charger with a micro-usb cable?

Sainsburys were doing a Linx 10" for £50 a few weeks back, may be worth checking if still available.

I think the Asus transfomer is better value at 149 from Amazon - brand new, and better quality device than this, with 12 months guarantee

But the grade B doesn't seem to include the keyboard by the look of it. did yours when you ordered? Cheers

Same seller is selling the Grade B ones for £54.99 which look to be good value. Same 30 day warranty as the Grade A and a few extra scratches won't make much difference if it's in a case.
Made a £50 offer on the Grade B which was accepted

If your printer has a network address ie wireless or physical connection and it is fixed, then if you connection to it by putting it's ip address in your web browser, then you may be able to use in for scanning and possibly for printing. modern HP printers have a useful facility, whereby you can print from anything anywhere (if they are networked) by sending to a specially crafted email address, even printing pdfs!

Not a bad price. It seems to have a proper uk keyboard. It might be worth while making an offer of say £99. Or going for other versions without they keyboard etc. They seem to have a lot

Condition was very good. Original screen cover still on.
Nice tablet but wifi temperamental, even when sitting next to router.
Will change a few settings and see if it makes a difference
Any cheap recommendations? The ebay ones seem dodgy to me.
The Samsung EVO was £22!! a few months back, considerably more at the moment.
This Silicon Power 128GB Elite MicroSDXC might be worth a punt http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B010SEXRUM/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new (£37.50, was £36.50 not long ago).
