Nothing wrong with 3g signal, Life Mobile customer service is very good and when I phoned to give them my pac on Sunday someone answered straight anyway. Nice to have someone who was English so could understand him without any problems plus he was friendly  10/10 for Life Mobile sofar

I'm considering switching over to Life Mobile from Vodafone - was just wanting to see how people are finding it so far for them, especially with phoning mobile numbers on other mobile provider networks. Thanks in advance

Signed up last week online using the link- 6GB 3G tethering data , Unlimited calls/txt( checked my web login and all details correct as deal) .
Submitted my Pac code and hopefully my old number will be transfered in a few working days. For a 30 day contract its a good deal and as mentioned quidco tracked at £30.
Very easy to contact on the phone or even chat on twitter but hoping they offer 4G data in the next few months.

I did think that myself. Usually it's the GB people complain about falling short of requirements.

That's still an hour and 6 minutes of calls per day. Blimey, you must be a right chatterbox if you use more than that!

No.
I suggest doing what some other people do and just keep a Three 321 SIM card active in order to access free wifi on the Virgin Underground wifi. Costs pennies, literally!

I am on the £10 deal, and going to ring them tomorrow to get shifted onto this one. Extra £3.45 for an extra 3GB seems fair. I know some have mentioned the Vodafone deal, but having had to deal with both company's CS this week, I would rather pay extra for Life.

24 Feb 16#60
I have just completed a survey for LIFE Mobile and one of ten questions was asking about choices between certain attributes and which you would rate highest and one of the choices was "4G data at £3 -£5 a month extra" so I reckon a) they are rolling it out soon and b) that's the sort of additional cost they are going to charge. If that is the case then they are likely to make themselves uncompetitive or certainly not as attractive (although I suppose if it was an optional extra and they still kept the existing lowest price points with 3G only then that would be OK)

Very temped. Currently on Three and am getting fed up with there price increases. Its not as if there service is that good. Only benefit is the going abroad but could buy a Pay as you go sim for that if needed and use it only when out of the country. I take it it should be straight forward porting over my number?

24 Feb 16#48
TPO actually use EE's 3G network. I think that it's TalkMobile who use Vodafone's network.
So far I haven't had a problem with TPO's network signal or speed in my area. However, I really can't reiterate how slow their customer service is!!! By the time they answered my call I had grown a full beard lol
Once you do get through to them, they are pretty helpful. Not the best, but acceptable at the price. I do have an issue with their upcoming switch to 3's network, since most of my friends have mentioned that 3 is brilliant outside London. Inside London is a completely different story. Lousy signal, sluggish speeds and pathetic customer service are the main reasons that most of them have moved to other networks. Luckily it's only a 30 day contract. So when it does get really **** and ridiculous, time to go network shopping elsewhere.

I am with virgin mobile, been with them for years, but wont move on giving me extra data for same price. stuck at 1GB, It has been years since I have moved service provider. do you phone up your own provider first to cancel, e.g mine is a 30 day rolling contract and get your pac code, or do you get this deal first, receive the sim and then phone your provider,
I don't want to mess this up.
Just 'upgraded' to this from the uswitch £10 with a 2 min call, great stuff.

However, I'm with The People's Operator (TPO), and you can get the same deal for £12.49 a month.
It's also a 30 day contract, however TPO takes forever to answer their customer service calls.
On the other hand, 10% of your monthly bill does go towards a charity of your choice.
They are also 3G, but apparently they will be moving to the 3 network in Q1 2016. Within that time frame, they will also be changing to 4G. https://www.thepeoplesoperator.com/pay-monthly

Great customer service from UK call centre -- I got 2 SIMS in the last couple of months (both on the £6/pm deal), PAC codes given and numbers ported, no problems.
Signal coverage for me seems pretty good, certainly no worse than the Tesco mobile (O2) I had before, and in the town where I work it is much stronger. Yes only 3G at the moment but suits me just fine.
