Whilst I was shopping this morning in the Huntingdon branch of Lidl I noticed that they have their Butter - both Unsalted and Salted on sale at 45p for 250gms reduced from 75p
I presume this is a national offer as they had a sign up on the shelf with lots available.

It's 45p in our local, its the salted and unsalted in foil packs, its a national thing.

Can you elaborate? Pretty sure most butter at this price range in supermarkets is all made by the same one or two suppliers.

Thanks for this post will check the price for my local store and get back to you guys tomorrow, get lots and freeze it, someone gave me a tip that if you don't use allot of butter cut it into small blocks and freeze it and take it out as you need it, great it you do lots of baking x

Should be massive heat, never see butter this cheap. The aldi equivalent at 75p is getting plenty of heat
