Was £150 before code.
Last week the price was over £200 (doesn't say price reduced but we were going to buy so we know) with £70 trade in code. It's still in the trade in list but offer doesn't appear on the product details.
Tried the old code and it still works - HTK70 taking the price to £80.
It says you only need to trade in an old radio or speaker or anything audio.
Fab price. Just got delivered today and just installed it and it's great.
The code for the sounds system trade ins are all HTK then followed by 30, 90 or 70 in the case for this one , or other numbers.
The list of trade in sound items still has a few models listed without the offers highlighted on product, so you might find some codes still work if they are in the list.
Nearly bought it at £129, glad I waited, thanks to op.

There's no detail for the trade in but it said 'old radio' as an example. Though the email said 'if you would like us to recycle your old product'... So not sure if this means you have to or not??

I don't think you have to trade an item in if you have this delivered as my delivery email says....
What happens next?

Just as an FYI on this, the sound quality isn't the best on this soundbar. I bought one as an upgrade from my LED tv built in speakers after scrapping my aged 5.1. Yes it is better than the TVs speakers but the sub is very "boomy" and tends to carry a lot of other audio rather than just bass which is weird. I've tried numerous different sound modes and setups but this is not a good soundbar if you want it for movies. Definitely better for music...

If this item was previously showing the red text, I would expect it to be fine. It would be them now removing the offer. If however it was never listed as a valid code applicable item and was a glitch, they may well cancel the orders. Fingers crossed for those who submitted the orders in time.

I ordered one for reserve and collect and before going into store I confirmed via live chat if the discount would be honoured instore and was told it would be only to go in and they refused to give it me even after showing them my live chat. Complete joke.

You are so right. The manager was so up his own **** and acted like he would have had to have taken the discount out of his own pocket. I've written a complaint to Currys I'm determined to get them to honour the deal.

The code is no longer valid (with this item). When it was, the T&C did not allow for in-store purchase or C&C like with other codes. I think it's a loosing battle unless you can prove that the T&C did actually allow for store collection.

I think it did allow store collection as it mentioned how and when to trade in the old product depending on if it was home delivery or collection. The delivery deals at least should be honoured the code was for this product they just stopped advertising offer when they dropped price, and I only posted the deal after ours had actually been delivered. Good luck trying to get them to honour it though

Mounted on the wall today, connected to my 60JL9000 (LG) using the LG sync wireless. Very impressed with the sound and how seamlessly it works with the TV - and it's easily louder than I could cope with.

Well it took a while but Currys just sent me a BACS payment for £70 to honour the discount after I paid full price for it. One email team said no to my complaint but via live chat they agreed to the discount and got it today so worth the fight in the end.
