As there is some love for this phone today, I thought I would provide an alternative option at a lower cost, for those who don't use Rakuten points this would seem like a slightly better option. There is also no mention of this being an EU model which might give a little additional peace of mind.

If you are sharp you can do it at pretty much 0 cost. Keep the phone nice, buy at super cheap HUKD prices and use Quidco or TCB and you can often resell after 6 months losing £20-£30. That's not a lot to pay for a new phone every six months. This is the official bullsh1t I give my wife

HEAT!
Lovely phone and great poled screen which think is better side by side than the G4
from a brightness point of view..
Same price as Expansys was last week and for the money you get a handset with
a bit of difference via the curved design..

Yes it a great looking phone. Just a pity the Red version is not available as it looks even better, (IMO.) They also feel great in the hand.

All the red version is, is a different back cover that can be removed and swapped over. Search eBay and you will find the red LG back cover for about £11. That's what I did ..

Now go for one of these and get off contract, or go for the coming g5 and stay on contract (I get friends and family discount on ee)

Contract deals are worth it if you want to stay the course. If you prefer a new phone every 6 months like me, your best bet is to keep the two separate.

I'd like to have a new phone every 6 months but my bank account doesn't! So I try to make most phones last 2 years!

Shame it hasn't received Marshmallow yet (hasn't even received confirmation from LG), would solve the low internal storage problem

No storage issues...nice 128GB card in mine

I'm very tempted by this, never going to get the G4 from vodafone, and going from the edge to this means the bigger screen and another curve just in a different direction!
I have a question, does the phone still overheat? When first released the 810 prcessor was known for overheating issues so has this been improved? Would love to know from someone who owns one

Yes, its a lot of money for a piece of plastic isn't it? Also annoying that you are still stuck with grey buttons.

For anyone worried about heat...3 months use ...never felt hot or hotter than any other smartphone...only one random reboot but the phone was not hot...pretty nice phone for commuting...curves around bum in backpocket for thos who are thay way inclined

I've got a 64GB card in mine, the internal storage is just hovering above 4GB with a few basic apps installed, that's why it needs the Marshmallow update

No not really, for an official back cover it's not bad. It's self healing for light scratches ..
