My first plasma had rectangular pixels, hence not evenly spaced, though it didn't stop the picture quality being anything other than fantastic. It doesn't strike me that it is a great selling point.

suprisingly for an LG it is,it has about 30ms input lag so its in the very good range but it does suffer from motion issues and everything else on it is sub par.
reflections bad, crap contrast ratio and blacks look grey.

Ignorance is bliss??? Really? ..My point being to alert anyone interested so they know what they are buying, yes that is my point.
I, like countless others would prefer a one solution setup rather than connecting a roku, amazon TV, chromecast or any other chinese internet TV device and we are also happy to pay way more for a single integrated solution so each to their own.. Ignorance is bliss is kind of ironic though, because seeing as you are the all knowing of electronics and all, who assumes you know what was on my mind when I submtted my post but, unfortunately you do not, so yes enjoy your ignorant blissful post and I am not even looking to buy a new TV!

Two year old model? Judging by model number and reviews dating back to 2014 on the Argos website. None in stock in Glasgow, Edinburgh or Ayrshire.
Hot if you can get it I suppose.

I have the 42" version connected to my VM box, have no problem with the picture quality at all, my only small gripe is the lack of HDMI's (although there are cheap ways around that). For the money this is an absolute steal. £270 for a reputable brand 49" TV, I paid more for the 42" version 3 years ago and I thought I had a bargain then!

Good luck on your built in apps not working after a few years because the tv manufacturer would rather you buy a brand new tv than update the software, but hey you carry on whilst I update my kodi box and watch everything, for free - forever.

Been looking for a new t.v for the bedroom for ages and I still wanted a biggish screen but did not want to be paying too much with it being for the bedroom. This is perfect and have reserved as plenty of stock in my area. Really good reviews on Argos and elsewhere online. Hubby will be happy ( not) when I tell him he is going via Argos after work.
