Got one of these from the richer sounds deal 2 weeks ago, was curious to see if my lg 43uf675v had the RGBW grid, turns out it doesn't! Also its an IPS display too as you can see by the subpixel grid type. So its a pretty good bargain! :sunglasses:

Glad to hear that it doesn't have the RGBW grid any more. I ordered one from tescos but decided not to keep it for fear of it having RGBW grid and reports of poor contrast.

Missing the point that from Richer Sounds and John Lewis it's brand new and not a referb?
Just worth noting RS will is a 6 year warranty vs JL is a 5 years warranty.

The guy I use for movies is quite guarded about his server mate, you simply can't just sign up and he's requested we don't name his server or post it to anyone we don't personally know but if you look on the Nvidia Shield thread in the misc section you can find details of a site you can join that has a list of some services that are using various methods to provide Inc Plex....

I have the 49" version of this TV and I am very happy with it. Have a Now TV box with sideloaded Plex and that is as smart as I need for now. Upscaling works well and IPS too. This looks like a good deal to me. Voted hot.

I have the 2015 49 inch 820v model lg 4k TV which I only brought 8 months ago. Very disappointed with it.. The main board has gone and it has had to be refurbished by LG. Input lag on most LG 4k TV's is awful as they use cheap components and not enough memory.. Mine is a top end set and has input lag of over 1 second.. My mate is a tech and tested mine and when I put earphones into my xbox one or ps4 controllers you can hear the audio on the TV after the headphones. Plus there is really bad light bleed too! There's a reason why these TV's are cheap!

Looks a pretty smart price to me. Think its time to dip my toe.
I do have a jail broken apple 2 TV, but its a pain in the arris, everytime I try to watch something, its broken. Seems the IP is always being blocked. Become a real pain to use. Anyone an ATV guru and got tips on what I need to do, to keep this pain in the arris going ?
