LG make a panel that uses a white sub pixel on top of the normal red, green and blue its been called a rgbw panel this means there are not enough pixels that can produce a full colour gamut(white is just white) so cannot make minimum standard for full 4K this has been dubbed as Faux K,LG made these to cut production costs and use them on entry level 4K sets which the UF6XX series is.The problem then is do all the models in the range use this panel or just some i have looked and cannot find that info anywhere.
lucky £"£$%£. i,d have one now but need to save for a deposit for my new car.
4K is definitely the way forward. Enjoy.

Can this play 3d content from an external 3d blu-ray player? Or does the TV have to be 3d ready to do that?
Thanks.
