A great card for your Wii U to run the homebrew, 128GB should be more than enough.

No, it's Secure Digital eXtended Capacity, which supports capacities of up to 2tb, as opposed to SDHC (High Capacity), which only supports up to 32gb.
FAT32 is a file system, and you can format SD cards with whichever file system you prefer/require. As FAT32 has a partition limit of 8tb you'll be able to format any SDXC card as FAT32, but it also has a file size limit of 4gb which could be a problem, in which case you could format it as NTFS or exFAT, and exFAT would be the better choice.

A better alternative for roughly the same price is the Qumox 128GB SD card. R/W speeds of 80MB/s and 35MB/s respectively, so its faster than this card. Have had mine for ages, had no issues whatsoever (despite transferring TB's of movies onto it on a regular basis). The reviews speak for themselves anyways:

I really should pull my head out from under this rock more often. Shame the consoles are still so expensive though
Thanks!
