Fairly unique tablet, had some issues initally, but it looks as though the latest updates and a workaround on xda-developers have all but sorted them out.
There was an issue with the memory utilisation, which has now been sorted - basically it ran more sluggish than it should, the fixes restore it to normal performance.

Oddly they don't do a Windows version with projector, no idea why...
clearly not my point. nothing wrong worth very either. Never had any issues and they are part of TCB where as far as I'm aware JL aren't? Could be wrong

Same resolution and brightness as the yoga 2 projector version.
Why didn't they upgrade the projector for the yoga 3?
Shame no one at XDA managed to dual boot to Windows :disappointed:

I had this for 3 weeks before sending back mid Feb. the lag almost sent me over the edge!
the projector is very good although a bit dim.
I decided to wait for a newer version with better processor.

I had mine for 3 weeks and returned it to JL for a full refund. The tablet would occasionally lock up whilst projecting requiring a reboot. Great tablet when it works properly.

...to add. the stand is great, sound is very good, projector is great even tho a tad dim.
great bit of kit just let down by lagging performance, hanging etc. and it does not read from USB using adapter (every other tablet I had does)

The sound on this tablet is phenomenal. It really does sound like surround sound. Makes watching films on it a cut above any other tablet I have used

My 2 kids have the non- projector version. The sound is VERY good, nice n loud front facing stereo speakers with Dolby surround. It's kind of surreal in a way, but good!

Yeah I was watching Poltergeist on it the other night from Netflix and it really was spooky hearing sounds to the side and behind. By far the best sound on any portable I have ever heard. I thought the Dolby atmos branding would be a gimmick like the beats on hp machines but it really is a killer feature

Just got mine from Argos last weekend will take back. I updated the 5/6 updates BUT you need to factory reset the tablet once all this has been done. I personally think it is very good but the specs are poor because I can buy a cheap Chinese tablet with same internal specs for 60/70quid???
If it had double the memory and a faster cpu and gpu or a Qualcomm 820 then in mind this would of been an absolute steal.
The projector is great for night time but the quality is clearly poor and once again you can get a higher spec projector from Amazon for 70 quid.
I think I will keep my nexus 9 and take this back, as that is fast and the screen is great but the build quality ain't the best.
What I want is the Lenovo pro with a better projector, Qualcomm cpu and more ram. This would then be the distinguishing factors that would make me keep it when it costs 400 quid. At 300 then yes but it.
Opening post
This is the best price I can find by about £50

Atom X5-Z8500 processor
2GB RAM, 32GB Storage
