Good replacement for my Nexus 7 2012? Had one for the kitchen to stream music and TV but the screen broke and don't want to use my 2013 version as I take it around with me.

Yeah should do the job. Don't expect anything amazing at this price spec but a little video/music streaming shouldn't be an issue

You can pick a colour at £45 they have different listings on eBay for each colour. 3rd day with the tablet now and still can't fault it's quality and performance for the money.

I bought the 16gb version of this just before Christmas for £49.99. It was perfect for my son and despite being a refurb it was in good nick.

Yes all the refurb tablets I've bought from Argos on ebay have been pretty much mint, a couple I suspect were actually brand new.

Got mine today, its still on 4.2. Anyone got an OTA update to 5.0?
Uridium to malachi
4 Feb 16#22
you sure they sent you a Tab2 not a Tab1 in error?
The Tab1 only went up to 4.4.2, this one the Tab 2 should upgrade to 5.01 If not already running 5.01

U sure it's not the 16gb 1gb earlier model before the tab2 which wasn't upgradable to5.0.1from argos's eBay site Uridium?

Thanks - Was going to get an Amazon Fire for my daughter but these look better and can get one in purple which she would prefer.
Says current version T2-A7-20F_S000009-151022_ROW.
So it is the Tab2 and the manufacture date is 2015-11-13. Dont know what's wrong as I don't want to start side loading software.

According to their own matrix is should have shipped on 4.4 with 5.0 upgrade planned for release anytime now.
Not sure how you have got 4.2...

It says 10F and 30F are upgraded but 20F is to be announced. That could mean anything, it may or may not happen.
Does anyone else with the 20F model have this issue or was you sent 10F or 30F?

Received my one today and returning as it is not Android 5. The product spec. says 5, but its not there. Argos accept this and have issued a return label within minutes.

I'm going to contact them and ask for an replacement model with Android 5. As its a good quality tablet, one of the best built tablets I have felt so far.

Can anyone advise a decent SD card to increase the storage? Would I need to purchase a 32GB card to increase to the maixmum storage capability?

I'm guessing YES IT WOULD! (as in yes, increasing internal 'Storage' would help PLENTY!). :-)
Try this:
Samsung Memory 32GB Evo MicroSDHC UHS-I Grade 1 Class 10 Memory Card with SD Adapter £7.99 (Prime) / £11.98 (non Prime) @ Amazon
They are permanently 59 pound in Argos now because there in the new catalogue at that price

Has anyone received theirs with Android 5?

Why not expect expect something half decent at this price-point for?.
You realise its being sold as 'refurbished' & not as new right?.
If your argument was because its a 'Second Hand' &/or 'Used' Item, etc, & therefore ..... then more then fair enough? (I'd more then get where your coming from?)
But its not 'New' is it?, so it'd be kinda illegal for the price to then reflect 'otherwise' ..... (thats how I see it anyway?)
Rant over!, lol. :-)
