I bought one of these when it was last posted and it's ideal for my purposes - netbook/tablet for travelling with - but I find the volume a bit disappointing. Does anyone know a way to boost it, apart from plugging a speaker in that is?

But I wasn't referring to the old miix with the 1200 screen. I was referring to the last miix 3 which had the 1920 x 1200 screen. The one you are talking about came with some floppy keyboard case. My miix 3 has a proper sold keyboard and the tablet clicks into into. The same as the miix 300 in fact although the mechanism is different. The ONLY improvement the miix 300 has over my model is it has a rear facing camera, something mine should have had, as shown on Lenovo's site but didn't. There is no other difference. It has the same ram and runs the same processor therefore no faster or great improvement and has lower quality screen. This image on the miix 3 is perfect and a pleasure to watch and although some won't be bothered, some will.

To add my mix is ok on web browsing. It's slower than my mac but when I just tried my dad's hp laptop running 3gb ram it's on par. Just to note my pc at work only runs 2gb ram and have no complaints with its performance. I read somewhere to use edge on the miix as it's better than chrome. Not tried it yet as I like chrome. It's not just ram or lack of it that makes browsing fast or slow, its how the information is processed also.

Went in to Curry’s to have a look at one this week and to my luck not one was available to have a look and play around with.. I’m not a lover of tablets tbh but I do like the price, I think if I bought it I would only use it for emails/kodi/MS office.
Can anyone answer this for me as the assailant in Curry’s looked like a rabbit staring into my head lights
If I was to install ITunes would I be able to connect my external hard drive to the tablet and put my music on to my nano?

I would buy it from Currys for £129 spending extra £10 because you are not sure what you will get from ebay as I have bad experience with them many times (I still buy from ebay something will cost me less than £10 ). This is just my opinion. Thanks.

I got Kodi on mine and wow, it's working perfectly and add a controller on top of it and there you have it, but on the Windows store they have movie apps which works fab
I had tried everything but not working :disappointed: think it's a Lenova problem

it will, when you have it on the TV and on your tablet, move your move over to the tv screen, right click on the desktop, Screen Resolution, and change the resolution for outputting to the TV. I did that before on my ASUS T100
If you don't like the dual OS, you can take out the one which you don't like. There is information on the internet on how to do this. I think £173 is still good price but it will be dispatched after the 23rd of March and from 'CHINA'. Hence I am not sure if I should order it yet. The reviews are apparently good.

From what i can find the older miix 3 with the 1200 screen just uses a keyboard case with a stand so its not a real hybrid, anyone can buy one of those cases for an ipad and get the same experience, the 300 clicks into a real hinge making it a proper laptop that doesnt require a flat surface. The screen is the only downgrade (and its not that big of a deal) everything else is improved upon the previous version.

Damn, that looks cool. When that one comes down to around this price point I'll bite the resellers hand off. Not sure how useful the dual OS will be but interesting idea.

I have bought this tablet, just for watching films and checking emails when away, I payed 130 from Argos. It's very good value for money, it's 130 quid it's great value for money. No it's not as good as an iPad Air 2, I have one and compared them both side by side but it wasn't 400 pounds it was 130. It is what it is, why keeping comparing products that aren't the same price.?

I've bought in summer the full hd one and the touchscreen is a joke...lack of proper drivers and lot's of software incompatibility and poor build quality, after wiping the screen with a wet tissue stopped working, the warranty was voided due to alleged water damage... from a wet tissue. After a while the screen recovered and worked a few weeks but after installing silverlight it becomes unusable. Not a good buy even at this price...

Me too. I can't see what all the fuss is about over a newer model with a less resolution screen. Guess the guys voting hot didn't see the posts on the miix 3 from last year.

It's still not too bad on a 10" screen, it's more important that it's IPS.
Whilst the device is neat, I find the keyboard a little too small (but that surely goes for all of these devices).
It comes with 20GB free on the system, even with the 32GB option.
Nobody cares about Office 365.

I bought this Miix 300 a few days ago and wish it was higher res compare to my surface pro 4 and another Windows tablet I owned 3 years ago!
I just bought myself a remote to control it from outputting to TV which will help alot instead of looking at the blank screen of my tablet lol
Tried to connect to the tv (duplicate screen) but it will not display fully to my tv unless I change it to only display on my TV
but apart from all that, it's a good nifty convertible
