Bought this yesterday, it is well made with 2 usb's on one on each side of keyboard. Bought this to replace nexus 10 as my wife prefers the windows system to Android. Plus the fact it ha its own keyboard and in built mouse. Much better than all the extras i had to carry around. Primary use is for holidays.

Just look at number of youtube videos, plus all the social network contents....you will struggle to find beyond 720p quality on social network..most camera on tablets and smartphones (the billions sold since) around the world, compressions on social network apps...twitter, Whatsapp, wechat....Chaton, Skype...so on.. not to say, anytime you pop into a shop cashier, factory, call centre, commercial office... you will struggle to find beyond 720p screens...not to say 250 millions Windows XP users..And in this context of the MIIX laptop, I typed, " I mean 90% plus people are satisfied with 1280x720 whatever the screen size up to 21" and you have weaponised my "up to 21" to "on a 21 inch" in your own words.
This is a hot deal at this resolution.

90% of people are happy with 1280x720 on a 21 inch screen? I think you will find the inverse is true.

In previous posts people were complaining about screen resolution. Real issue or just spec nurds?

That depends on whether you prefer 1280 x 800 compared with 1920 x 1200. For me I think the previous miix was better as it has a better screen.

We have a HP Pavilion x2 10-n053na. Same resolution. It's serviceable. 720p for a 10" device would preferable but it's ok for web and general use.

Absolutely no issue unless you want to do large spreadsheets (needing to squeeze more cells visible on 10"), OK for casual photoediting, (better photo editing needs a larger more expensive screen anyway). Vast majority, I mean 90% plus people are satisfied with 1280x720 whatever the screen size up to 21". It is an optimal resolution for power usage, price and file storage size, data transfer, CPU processing..People do have genuine need for 1080p and beyond for usage. Mostly people only ever notice a difference in clarity and in detail when 720p is put next to 1080p for comparison, and if you pop along to Boots the optician, you can ask how many people have not 20 20 vision, and check your eye out. The sensitiveness of eyes and ears of a users often cannot make use of these so called higher end higher definitions.

Is it worth it oh and would it do it?
Extra 2 years warranty with JL but it’s still £129.99
The keyboard has two full size USB ports.
